Amazing red velvet cake from Rush Street resturant in Culver City

Absolutely the best slice of red velvet cake I have ever had... And if you’re like me you've tried every red velvet cake and cupcake at EVERY restaurant and bakery in your local and not so local area. This one tops them all!!! With four layers of red chocolaty goodness paired with cream cheese perfection and bonus smooth melt in your mouth chocolate hugging each layer and drizzled on top... O let me not forget the addition of the bitter sweet raspberry that just sent me completely over the top! Whoa!  DELICIOSO!  (I'm in the process of learning Spanish) :D

Trina Turk, or TT, as she’s called on her brands Facebook page, is a pioneer of women’s designer clothing in many ways. In the last two years TT, has introduced a men’s clothing line, a fashion jewelry line, accessories line, home furnishings line, and hosiery line! To top it all off, Trina’s women’s clothing is solely manufactured in the U.S., primarily in California, where the TT headquarters are located. Can anyone say, phenomenon! We shouldn’t expect anything less from this independent woman. She’s just like all of you vintage lovers with a vision!

Trina has a love for modern antiques, which is apparent in everything from her printed dresses to the light fixtures at any of her nine store locations. “Mod” is prominently featured throughout Trina’s collections. Silhouettes, bold colors and prints, minimal embellishments, are all a throwback to the 60’s.







I absolutely adore TT’s summer line. Her signature “Nefertari Leaf” print in curry complements the Fridonna tank beautifully. And the Antonella strapless dress is “to die for”! Her Summer collection is trendy and super cute with ruffles, crochet trims, lurex woven fabrics for added sparkle…TT is a genius women’s clothing designer. Her beachy handbags are perfect for any travel plans you have for the warm months ahead. They’re lightweight and decorated in Trina’s signature “Loop de Loop” print!
